Nobu open first European hotel in London

Posted in Future on 13 January, 2017

With two iconic London restaurants and hotels across the world, Nobu is finally opening their first European hotel and it’s coming to Willow Street in Shoreditch.

It’s been a while in the making having meant to open in 2014 and 2016 but hopefully it’s third time lucky as it’s set to open this spring. Detailed plans are yet to be announced, but what we can tell you is that the hotel will feature 150 rooms, seven suites, state of the art modern features and a 240 cover Nobu restaurant with outdoor courtyard. As with the restaurants on Berkeley Street and Old Park Lane, all the food and drinks will be developed by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa uniquely for the hotel.

Continuing the east meets west philosophy the hotel’s design is the work of Ben Adams Architects, Studio Mica and Studio PCH, with an industrial edge and light being at the centre – it’s all layered glass and steel beams.

As we said, not much has been revealed yet, but it’s safe to say it’s going to be worth the wait.
