KENT & LONDON
Well Made, that’s key to everything at KENT & LONDON, from custom furniture through to a range of homewares for modern urban life, the brand believes that if something is well-made it will become a part of life, remaining useful and beautiful for years to come.
With the London and Luca capsule collections, KENT & LONDON furniture is made to fit the home; the brand adding smart thinking to the details for contemporary pieces that function for everyday use. Finish too is customisable, with a range of KENT & LONDON paint colours inspired by its Whitstable origins and Shoreditch showroom, as well as oils and lacquers.
No matter what design or collection, every piece of furniture is custom made to the size needed in KENT & LONDON’s farm workshop, close to the town of Whitstable where it all began. Keeping a close distance to the town helps the maker to preserve the Well Made in England philosophy that has been at its heart since it began.
KENT & LONDON designed kitchens are made in the very same workshop, the maker adding its smart thinking to custom fitted units in the same range of paint colours, oils and lacquers available in its furniture collections. Right from small urban homes upwards, the same locally sourced hardwood and oak is used to craft Well Made kitchens that will instantly become a part of life.
With the brand recently opening a London showroom in Shoreditch, it has begun to pioneer its Urban Edit concept, a curated range for the compact spaces of urban living. Encompassing furniture, kitchens and selected homewares, Urban Edit is an example of how good design can bring well designed multi-function to daily life.
At the heart of it all, including a rolling schedule of collaborative projects with like-minded brands such as Margo Selby and FLOOR_STORY, remains KENT & LONDON’s desire to stand up for contemporary design through traditional craft. Each KENT & LONDON piece epitomises good craft; it is simply Well Made in England.
