Eha – The New Estonian Retreat Redefining Nordic Wellness
Set to open in summer 2026, Eha is a new wellness retreat on Estonia’s unspoilt Hiiumaa Island, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Here, guests embark on a journey of renewal, guided by a philosophy deeply rooted in nature and the rhythm of the seasons. Encircled by the Baltic Sea and steeped in centuries of local tradition, Hiiumaa is one of Europe’s quietest islands, with some of its darkest, clearest skies. Two-thirds forested, with wild beaches and rare biodiversity, it offers the space and stillness that set the tone for every stay.

Interiors balance organic textures and contemporary Nordic design, creating calm, light-filled spaces that invite stillness.

Five distinct retreat programmes – summer, spring, autumn, winter, and springrise – guide guests through movement, nourishment, rest, and reflection, fostering vitality that lasts beyond departure. Led by Estonian-born Wellness Director Kai Laus, Eha’s programmes blend Estonian and ancestral healing traditions with evidence-based practices. From thermal rituals, nature immersion and breath-led movement to foraging and reflective sessions, each has been curated to meet the season. Also inspired by nature is the sound journey at Eha, curated by Olo, specialists in immersive audio experiences. Bespoke soundscapes will capture the true essence of the island to influence an even deeper connection to nature and to oneself.

Culinary excellence lies at the heart of the retreat. Each dish is designed to support energy, digestion and overall balance, delivering nourishment with refined simplicity and visual appeal.

At its heart is the vision of co-founders Eva Maran and Sonny Aswani, whose passion and purpose drive the project forward.
