A Galaxy of Global Lighting Brands

As the nights draw in, Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour is turning its full beam of attention to lighting. From Monday 14 – Thursday 17 November 2022, Lighting by Design will place the spotlight on this essential design element, with a show featuring some of the world’s best lighting brands.

Following on from its launch last year, Lighting by Design returns for 2022 with names such as Baccarat, Lladró, Martin Huxford, Mernøe, Curiousa, Roast Designs, Sharon Marston, From the Sky, Moroccan Bazaar, Sunbeam Jackie and Circa Lighting illuminating the Design Avenue.

All revered for their design, craftsmanship and innovation, these companies will complement the bright and beautiful products to be found in the showrooms, including world-leading lighting specialists Arteriors, Bella Figura, Christopher Hyde Lighting, Collier Webb, David Hunt Lighting,  Gladee Lighting, Hadeland Glassverk, Original BTC, Porta Romana, Wired Custom Lighting and Vaughan.  Additionally, you find inspiration in the many showrooms for which lighting is an important element of their cross-product offering such as Eccotrading Design London, Gallotti&Radice, Interdesign UK, Julian Chichester, MindTheGap, Paolo Moschino Ltd, Ralph Lauren Home, SA Baxter Design Studio & Foundry, The Specified and Turri.

Lighting is one of the most powerful tools in a designer’s arsenal, considered a “make or break” component that defines the success of a scheme. Correctly done, it plays a multitude of roles: creating a defined atmosphere, enhancing architectural space and making essential tasks easier. Its capacity to promote health and wellbeing is also increasingly being explored by designers – as a way to boost mood, regulate sleep patterns and improve productivity.
