DECOREX ANNOUNCES ‘THE ROOTS OF DESIGN’ THEME FOR 2016

Decorex, the UK’s leading destination for interior design, will explore the roots of design as its theme for the 2016 edition. Examining the origins of design, which continue to define and shape the future of the industry, Decorex partnered established names with emerging designers to mark the start of this year’s campaign.

One of the first destinations to open the 2016 London Design Festival, Decorex will explore the theme through a series of interactive installations and its popular seminar programme. Visitors to the show will experience how true design is built on a rich heritage, constantly evolving to incorporate new techniques and materials.

Commenting on what the roots of design means to him: Sebastian Cox, says: “I strongly believe that by looking at the roots of design we can continue to make things that don’t adhere to short lived trends; by looking at our roots we can make things that remain beautiful for centuries.”
