The business event for luxury and boutique hotels, the Independent Hotel Show, is going global with the launch of its first show in Amsterdam. Taking place from 8th-9th May, the first European edition will be held at RAI Amsterdam.

Why Amsterdam?

Amsterdam is a European centre for innovation and over recent years has been a hotel development hotspot. Reflected at the inaugural European edition of the Independent Hotel Show, this event has been curated to produce a forward-thinking, design-led marketplace, teaming up with local designers and trend-forecasters to present initiatives to future proof hotel business and discover new ideas and inspiration.

Event highlights

Dedicated to supporting the needs of the modern hotelier, the Independent Hotel Show Amsterdam seminar programme will deliver inspiration and practical solutions, as well as facilitating those unanticipated connections that could totally transform a business.

Following in the footsteps of the sell-out London programme, there will be two days of seminars and interactive workshops in conjunction with a specially-chosen mix of independently minded hoteliers, who will talk about the latest developments and most pressing concerns in the industry as well as looking at exciting opportunities to stay ahead in this fast-paced sector.

  • The Hotel Vision Stage, designed by H-Hospitality, will host talks addressing the key issues and opportunities facing the industry and discussing the latest trends.
  • Exclusively for Amsterdam, The Concept Lab designed by Robuust Amsterdam will present forward-thinking local brands offering unique solutions to implement in hotels.
  • Speed networking sessions have been devised to give visitors the opportunity to talk to their peers and a chance to learn from hoteliers around the globe.
  • Designed by Roelfien Vos, The Lobby is the central networking space, where visitors can enjoy refreshments, share ideas and host meetings.
