Ikos Resorts Announces the Launch of 5* Ikos Dassia, Corfu Island

Ikos Resorts, the best rated luxury all-inclusive resort brand in Europe and worldwide*, is delighted to announce that it is adding a third property to its portfolio with the launch of Ikos Dassia, Corfu, opening on 3rd May 2018. The property will be the most luxurious all-inclusive hotel Corfu has ever seen. It will bring a new high in all-inclusive dining to the popular Greek island, with Michelin starred chefs and an innovative ‘Dine-Out’ offering.

The elegant new resort is situated at the magnificent bay of Dassia, 15 minutes from the historic Corfu town and 20 minutes from Corfu International Airport, which is serviced daily by major airlines.

Ikos Dassia will boast 403 bedrooms, suites and villas suitable for couples and families, all set within lush gardens and with views across the Ionian Sea. As with all Ikos Resorts, Ikos Dassia will elevate the traditional, all-inclusive experience by offering exceptional quality and choice with no hidden costs.

Guests at Ikos Dassia will be spoiled with luxuries at no extra cost including Michelin-starred menus, complimentary mini-bars, kid’s clubs, an array of sports activities, branded spirits, 300 local and international wines selected by the Ikos Sommelier, 24-hour room service and much more.

Ikos Dassia will house a total of nine restaurants which can all be enjoyed as part of the all-inclusive Ikos Resorts dining experience. Seven of the restaurants will feature à la carte menus that are prepared by Michelin-starred chefs and are complemented by an array of fine wines. Cuisine will range from modern Greek, Greek deli, Asian/Oriental, Italian, French, Basque and local gastronomy from Corfu. A Mediterranean buffet style restaurant will also be on offer.

As part of the innovative Ikos Dine-Out experience, guests can head out to carefully selected, local Greek restaurants across Corfu island and dine there for free as part of their all-inclusive stay.

11 bars will be located around the resort’s lush gardens and pools including a Gelaterie, an adults only Wine Bar and a number of pool and hotel bars serving cocktails prepared by award-winning Ikos mixologists.

The resort will boast seven heated swimming pools, including spa pools and adults-only pools, plus a number of private pools, set in beautiful natural surroundings.

A 600m long private sandy beach set beside the crystal-clear Ionian Sea is reserved exclusively for hotel guests. Here they will find complimentary, luxurious sun beds and umbrellas with a food and beverage waiter service, 30 minutes free beach childcare for kids over the age of 4 and a designated adults-only area.

For those looking for a more active stay, guests can make use of the extensive facilities including floodlit tennis courts, aerobics classes, basketball, beach badminton, volleyball, canoeing, pedalos, paddle boarding, mountain biking, Pilates, Zumba, table tennis and much more. An array of motorised water-sports are also provided at extra cost.

The pampering spa and fitness centres will house: private treatment rooms including couples’ suites; indoor/outdoor heated pools with jacuzzi; a thermal suite comprising of steam room and sauna; a hairdressing salon, and beauty corner with nail salon and Anne Sémonin products.

Ikos Dassia’s 403 rooms, suites and one- and two-bedroom villas with differing categories for couples and families will be spread across 20 verdant acres with a beachfront setting and will have luxurious touches including spacious balconies, private gardens and individual pools.
