Alessandro Palazzi Wins ‘Industry Legend’ At Imbibe’s Personality of the Year Awards 2018

DUKES LONDON’s world-renowned head barman, Alessandro Palazzi, had a hugely successful night at Imbibe’s annual Personality of the Year Awards. Alessandro was a joint winner in the ‘Industry Legend’ category, sharing the prize with David Bruce, from The City Pub Group. The awards ceremony took place on Monday 12th February at Mahiki Kensington, where the hospitality industry’s brightest stars came together to celebrate the passionate and innovative individuals behind some of the UK’s biggest names. The awards are made even more special by the fact that it is voted for, and judged, by industry peers, including the likes of Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt, Gin Journey’s Leon Dalloway and restaurateur, George Bergier.

On Alessandro Palazzi’s win, the Connaught Bar’s Ago Perrone and one of the judges of the awards said, “Alessandro has the energy and passion of a 25-year-old bartender, while his management experience makes him a solid leader for the industry.
