Ammique joins forces with textile designer Hannah White for Sleep & Eat
Ammique will be showcasing its many compelling benefits for hotels, guests and the environment on Stand J50 at Sleep & Eat from 19–20th November.
Working closely with show organisers and PR team, the brand will launch a Platinum limited edition bed with a choice of three elegantly sensual fabric choices created in collaboration with textile designer, Hannah White. All fabrics for this collection have been woven exclusively for Ammique by the oldest, family run textile mill in England, David Walters, which celebrates its 300th anniversary next year.
Dr Hannah White is an award-winning textile designer who is a specialist in woven fabrics and constructed textile forms. She has worked in the industry for over 20 years and uses her extensive textile knowledge to design and create sumptuous materials that explore texture and form. Designing woven fabrics allows for subtle interplays between the weave structures, the mix of colours, and the choice of threads.
Hannah uses these qualities to produce beautifully crafted and striking fabrics for luxury interiors and fashion. Her previous clients have included the Victoria & Albert Museum, Selfridges and The Conran Shop. Hannah’s awards include a British Interior Textiles Association’s Award for Outstanding Design and recognition from the Crafts Council, NESTA and The London Doctoral Research Centre.
“I am delighted to be collaborating with Ammique to develop exclusive textile collections for their extraordinary beds – and to be bringing something really fresh to hotel interiors,” says Hannah.
As one of Europe’s leading design and innovation events for the hospitality sector, Sleep & Eat is an ideal venue for Ammique to share an innovative leasing package – a completely new way for hoteliers to invest in some of the best bed technology for their guests. Ammique will also be taking the opportunity to offer one specially-selected hotel the chance to win the display bed for a free, six month trial.
