ANDAZ TOKYO TORANOMON HILLS AWARDED “URBAN HOTEL OF THE YEAR”
Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills has been awarded the coveted title, “Urban Hotel of the Year” at the 11th annual AsiaSpa Awards, which took place earlier this month at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
The space is designed by Tony Chi and Shinchiro Ogata, reflecting a modern view on Japanese style and culture. Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills also showcases a series of local, cultural events through the Andaz Salon program and is dedicated to creating a stage where creative minds can come together, explore, learn and share.
The AsiaSpa Awards celebrate the industry’s finest spas, hotels and resorts, retreats, academies, personalities and products. These awards recognise winners not only for their outstanding achievement at the highest of luxury standards, but for progressive foresight in the fields of ecological awareness and technical innovation.
Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills and AO Spa & Club were nominated across five categories and took home the “Urban Hotel of the Year” title. The criteria for acknowledgement in this category included a consistently high standard of luxury, service and quality, and an innovative approach to hospitality. In addition to providing a home away from home, offering extensive and innovative facilities, including restaurants, bars, spa and gym, the hotel demonstrated a commitment to driving the hospitality industry forward.
“We are delighted to have been recognised with such a highly respected accolade. I am very proud of my entire team who continue to provide exceptional personalised service to our guests, and this award is truly a recognition of their dedication,” said Arnaud de Saint-Exupéry, General Manager at Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills.
