Bespoke Hotels Unveils HOTEL BROOKLYN
Bespoke Hotels has unveiled plans for a new 191-room boutique hotel, set to open in the spring of 2020 on Manchester’s famed Portland Street. Following the success of the nearby Hotel Gotham, located at the head of the city’s King Street, Bespoke has unveiled Hotel Brooklyn, the next step in its ongoing investment and deepening relationship with Manchester and the North West.
Currently under construction, Hotel Brooklyn will offer 191 innovative and stylish guestrooms, events space for up to 220 people, as well as a panoramic rooftop bar, known as Brooklyn Heights, and restaurant, named Runyon’s. An homage to the Golden Age of New York City and the promise of the New World, Hotel Brooklyn will stand as a hive of theatricality and energy.
Guestrooms and interiors are being designed by Squid Inc, who previously worked on Hotel Gotham’s award-winning aesthetic, while construction is being overseen by Marshall CDP, who have worked with Bespoke on a number of properties in the region, including Hotel Gotham itself.
“Alongside its sister establishment, Hotel Gotham, Brooklyn is poised to take a starring role in Manchester’s luxury hospitality portfolio,” commented Robin Sheppard, Chairman of Bespoke Hotels. “It isn’t merely offering a bed for the night, but rather access to a hub of untamed, creative energy, flanked on all sides by the city’s dynamic nightlife and glamour.”
“We are tremendously excited to be deepening our relationship with the city of Manchester, through the launch of a new boutique property in its centre,” added Graham Marskell, Managing Director of Operations for Bespoke Hotels. “We have enjoyed an extremely positive response from the local market since launching Hotel Gotham, and we hope to maintain this momentum when Brooklyn opens its doors in early 2020.”
