CAPRI THE NEW OUTDOOR SEATING COLLECTION FOR “BOUTIQUE CONTRACT” PROJECTS

The outdoor collection designed by Matteo Thun Atelier and produced by the Italian company Very Wood was conceived to meet the different projects’ and clients’ needs in the field of hospitality and food & beverage. From common areas of 4 and 5 star hotels to terraces of private suites, from sun decks of the most exclusive wellness centers to bars and restaurants lounge areas.

At the base of the great versatility of Capri there’s a clear stylistic choice: Normality. Its technological and aesthetic qualities are enclosed in the essence of its lines made even more pure and defined by the choice of a unique material, the wood. Excellent features that are “invisible” since they are self-evident: the essential beauty of CAPRI consists in its iconic shape – it is familiar intuitively.

The collections acquire great personality thanks to the possibility of customising the seating, the backrest and the decorative pillows with a wide choice of upholstery, colours and patterns available in 25 variants, both in basic and premium versions.

Matteo Thun Atelier abstains from super-structures and stylistic excesses: the collection evokes the Mediterranean atmospheres itself, with warmth, intense colours and natural materials with no reference to current trends.

Starting from a classic, CAPRI is designed as a stylistic passe-partout that perfectly integrates in various architecture and interior projects. “We aim for aesthetic durability as main feature of a sustainable and timeless product that endure the use and beyond temporary design tendencies”.

Thanks to special oily treatments for extra brightness, Iroko wood is perfect for outdoor environments. Solid and stable to thermal excursions, it guarantees high performances in terms of life-cycle and aesthetics, enhancing the beauty of its “patina” over time. Moreover it reduces the waste of material since it’s extremely easy to work.
