Courthouse Hotel opens in Cheshire

The former Knutsford Crown Court, a Grade II listed Sessions building, has undergone a conversion over the last 18 months into an events and banqueting venue with a reception capacity of 400 in The Court Room.

The Moneypenny Suite has a capacity of 100 for private dinners and events as well as six other flexible rooms which can accommodate 10-100 guests. Before the end of the year, 10 rooms will be available in the wings of the building, with a further 40 bedrooms being added at the rear of the site in 2018.

The Courthouse Hotel is easily accessible by car, just two miles from Junction 19 of the M6 motorway and 20 minutes from Manchester Airport. The hotel is located opposite Knutsford train station, which has direct links to Manchester and Chester.

The Barristers Restaurant & Bar has opened its doors at the venue, providing 90 covers serving British seasonal menus. Later in July will see the opening of the Rooftop Gardens, a 100 capacity cocktail and champagne bar which will be filled with botanical herbs, a Chef’s garden, and seasonal flowers.
