Dornbracht annual review: inspiring through sustainable design

The launch of Dornbracht ReCrafted made the company the first manufacturer in the world to take back its own fittings, refurbish them and return them to the market cycle. This saves valuable resources and around 40% of CO2 emissions compared to a new product. A best case in terms of sustainability!

Dornbracht ReCrafted: Decoating, polishing and re-finishing – the path taken by a ReCrafted fitting in the Dornbracht production facility in Germany is shaped by manual skills, craftsmanship, and the expertise of on-site specialists.

Innovations in the kitchen
A radical re-working of Dornbracht’s Meta.02 led to the reveal of the new Meta Square. This re-launch not only creates a beautifully reduced design language, offering minimalism in its purest form, but offers a host of new finishes and variants. Further innovations saw the classic Vaia and MEM taps introduced to the kitchen collection for the first time.

The year for collaborations
The MEM series has taken on an even sharper design edge this year through pioneering collaborations with Nature Squared and Glass Design. These collections not only celebrate the work of independent artisans but create customisation options for truly individual bathroom designs.

Inspiring case studies
A collection of beautiful projects have shown Dornbracht off with a sense of architectural elegance this year. In being able to share these we have been able to inspire with lifestyle settings where Dornbracht elevates a range of design styles.

Showroom opening in Singapore
Dornbracht continues to expand its international presence with the opening of the Experience Centre in Singapore, displaying the latest bathroom and shower solutions.
