Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Switzerland announces major renovations in 2019
Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Switzerland has announce that its much-loved Grand Hotel Quellenhof will undergo an extensive refurbishment in early 2019, to coincide with the resort’s 150th anniversary in July 2019. These planned developments will see an entirely renovated lobby and bar area, enhancing the hotel’s public spaces and facilities. New additions will include an innovative restaurant concept and refurbished rooms with contemporary and sleek designs throughout.
The complete renovation is part of a comprehensive investment programme taking place throughout the resort, and worth 40 million Swiss Francs. As part of these exciting developments, the resort will also be launching a new family spa at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, set to open May 2018.
Both Grand Hotel Quellenhof’s refurbishment and the family spa have been designed by renowned interiors expert, Claudio Carbone, who has previously worked with Grand Resort Bad Ragaz on the Spa Suites in 2009. The Quellenhof refurbishement is set to begin in February 2019 and will take five months to complete, so guests will be able to experience the changes for themselves in July 2019 onwards. During the redevelopment, all other areas of the resort will remain open and unaffected, including Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Spa Suites Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, the Thermal Spa and the public Thermal bath, the Tamina Therme, the Golf, the casino, the medical centre and Bad Ragaz clinic.
These refurbishments will ensure that Grand Resort Bad Ragaz remains an industry leader, and also reflects the ongoing popularity of the Heidiland region for tourists.
