The stunning statement wrought iron staircase replicates the silk weaving process, made of iron and copper with large moons proving an unmissable Instagram picture. A series of large dark mahogany lights comprised of cabinetmakers boxes adorn the ceiling of the bright and airy lobby space, sending a nod to the craftmanship of times past.
Hammered copper detailing on the reception desk harks back to the metalworkers of Victorian Shoreditch and soft textures alongside industrial touches provide a workshop aesthetic. Books and décor have been carefully selected from the local antique shops, whilst bespoke carpets and fabrics made in East London help showcase the strength and beauty of taking raw materials and refining them.
