Henrietta Hotel opens in Covent Garden this April
Opening on Henrietta Street, Henrietta Hotel opens in April and will feature just 18 bedrooms and a restaurant. Take a look at Henrietta Street and you’ll see that all the buildings are all different, different roof shapes and different windows and it’s this eclectic nature that designer Dorothée Meilichzon has recreated in the design of the rooms.
Bold colours, brass bedside lights, 70s retro armchairs with brushed aluminium elements inspired by Pierre Paulin, Carrara marble skirting, Terazzo shape carpets and Dorothée’s famous hand-made bed heads resembling Milanese doorframes will make up the look of the unique rooms. Inspired by the roofs in the street, the sinks in the bathrooms are made from two pieces of granite placed at 90°, they’ll be joined by large mirrors and black and white octagonal floor tiles and cabochons.
