HYPNOS CONTRACT BEDS REDEFINES THE ‘GUEST EXPERIENCE OF TOMORROW’
In keeping with HIX’s theme ‘A Room With a Point of View’, Hypnos Contract Beds is setting the precedent for the next chapter of hospitality design and the quality of guest experiences at this year’s show where it will showcase its sustainable offerings.
Taking place on 16th and 17th November, the proud British bedmaker will be showcasing its premium Holborn collection, which has been designed with sustainability at the heart. Soft layers of wool and dual density polyester seamlessly blend with ReActive pocket springs to provide a responsive and luxury feel. This is further enhanced by the breathable fine cotton covering which responds to fluctuations in body temperature, ensuring a restful sleep, night after night.
Furthermore, in line with Hypnos’ commitment to comfort with integrity, the GRS polyester used in the careful crafting of the Holborn collection is derived from recycled plastic bottles that might otherwise have ended up in landfills.
Carolyn Mitchell, Sales and Marketing Director at Hypnos Contract Beds, shares her enthusiasm for HIX 2023, stating, “We’re looking forward to attending HIX this year. The theme ‘A Room With a Point of View’ resonates with us as it highlights the substantial transformations in the hotel landscape and their potential implications for guests, operators, designers, and developers alike.”
This shift in focus is reshaping the hospitality industry, moving beyond the traditional boundaries of budget, quality, and service. The significance of quality sleep, previously overlooked, has gained prominence, particularly in the post-pandemic era, as wellness and work-life balance take centre stage. Guests now prioritise their sleep routines and expect a sleep experience on par, if not better, when they stay away from home.
Hypnos Contract Beds is at the forefront, leading the way in delivering the enhanced sleep experiences that today’s guests demand. As such, providing the best possible sleep quality should be the underpinning strategy of every bed and mattress company. While there are a range of factors that go into getting a good night’s sleep, the bed is at the heart of any guestroom and the mattress is a pivotal part of the overall guest experience.
Better sleep has a myriad of positive effects, including improved health and wellbeing, and hotels can embrace this by offering a more holistic approach to wellness.
With the ‘guest experiences of tomorrow’ forming an integral part of this year’s HIX event, Hypnos believes that health and wellbeing should always be at the forefront. This is reflected through its use of carefully selected, sustainably sourced materials for products, such as the Holborn collection.
The use of ethically sourced materials is also a key consideration when it comes to addressing the true cost of sleep. While most will attribute it to the bed or how well rested one feels, the reality is much broader than that. Ultimately, it is the cost to the planet. It is for that reason that Hypnos pays close attention to how its products are made, using only natural and sustainable materials that can be recycled at the end of their life.
Carolyn Mitchell, comments: “We’re delighted to be showcasing the Holborn Collection at this year’s HIX event. A prime example of our commitment to offering true comfort with integrity, the range features a comprehensive choice of sustainable fibres to help inspire more people to sleep sustainably.
“As a fifth-generation family business, we’re incredibly proud of what we do. We understand that good design makes you feel good – and nothing is more central to a relaxing guest experience than a good night’s sleep. We encourage hoteliers to visit our stand at HIX to learn more about our premium products, as well as discover how they can work with us on future opportunities.”
