Iconic Design House Paul Smith Enters Licensing Partnership With La Bottega
Debut preview took place at Independent Hotel Show, London.
In a first of its kind collaboration, La Bottega, the founding company of the newly formed La Bottega Collective launched its inaugural cross functional licensing partnership with iconic design house Paul Smith. Renowned for their curious and creative approach to design, the collection will initially launch with Hotel Essentials, exclusively distributed by La Bottega, followed by a Hotel Textiles collection via its newly established textile sector, White Privé.
The Paul Smith collection was exclusively previewed at this year’s Independent Hotel Show, London held on October 6 and 7, where La Bottega Collective will make its exhibition debut. The multidisciplinary group of guest experience curators officially launched September 22, showcasing to the world how it orchestrates every touchpoint of the luxury guest journey through its growing portfolio of globally renowned brands: La Bottega, Vanity Group, Palatino, Beltrami, White Privé, and Colosseo.
Founded on a shared spirit of creativity, heritage, and design excellence, the collaboration bridges Paul Smith’s instantly recognisable aesthetic and 55 years of history, with La Bottega Collective’s four-decade legacy of curating the world’s most distinguished guest experiences.
The hotel essentials offering launches with The Botanist collection – a fragrance inspired by the first Paul Smith shop in Nottingham, UK in 1970 that was delicately scented with vetiver. The scent profile is designed to transport the guest to a garden on a summer’s day and has notes of lemon, black pepper, vetiver, and moss all housed in Paul Smith’s iconic stripe motif.
Tommaso Pacini, CEO of La Bottega Collective said of the partnership: “Paul Smith is an iconic designer, keen philanthropist, and a leader in his field. Our newly formed Group allows us to bring his creative vision to life across multiple touch points of the guest journey. This is a first of its kind partnership in Hotel Essentials and Textiles, creating true immersion for the guest – it’s the reason why we created La Bottega Collective. We’re looking forward to what landmark partnerships await.”
The Paul Smith Hotel Essentials collection is available in 100% recyclable 30ml aluminium tubes, 300ml refillable bottles, 360ml Invisible non-refillable bottles, and luxury 300ml Resin. The offering also includes a suite of ancillary items including a travel set, bath salts, and room and pillow sprays.
The Paul Smith Hotel Textiles collection will feature a selection of plush robes, slippers, eye masks, throws, bed and bath linens, pyjama sets, carry bags, and towels, each piece drawing inspiration from Paul Smith’s 55 years of design creativity and White Privé’s uncompromising commitment to quality.
