Italy’s leading family resort undergoing refurb ahead of summer season
Chia Laguna, Italy’s leading family resort, has announced that its Hotel Village is currently undergoing refurbishment to offer all of its 240 rooms a fresh and creative new look ahead of the Summer 2020 season. Designs by industry-leading architects of Studio Marco Piva in Milan, rooms will be heavily inspired by Sardinia’s renowned and natural beauty. Colour schemes will reflect the dramatic blue hues of the Sardinian coastline, the subtle pinks of the sands at nearby Chia Bay, and the vibrant green shades of the Mediterranean maquis. Dependent on room category, guests can opt for picturesque sea views or a private garden.
Room categories include:
- Classic Cottage Rooms and Classic Cottage Balcony Rooms
- Garden Cottage Rooms and Superior Cottage Rooms
- Family Cottage Rooms and Connecting Cottage Rooms
Chia Laguna offers families a range of world-class facilities. Whilst children enjoy endless activities at the resort’s Kid’s Club, parents can lounge under the sun on the golden sandy beaches of Chia Bay and bathe in its crystal-clear waters, or, perfect for spa lovers, can wind-down at the natural spa with a range of face and body treatments, de-stress with a mud bath, sauna or sensory shower, and revitalise with the alfresco hydrotherapy pool. Families can also enjoy the resort’s entertainment together: in the day participating in tennis, golf, football, water-sports and even horse-riding activities, and later watching the dazzling evening shows.
Chia Laguna is comprised of four hotels – five-star Hotel Laguna, four-star Hotel Spazio Oasi, four-star Hotel Village and Hotel Baia. Across the resort are nine restaurants, eight bars, five pools and an expansive spa. Chia Laguna joins a portfolio which includes Italian Hospitality Collection’s first ski property, Le Massif in Courmayeur, and the renowned thermal spa hotels Grotta Giusti, Bagni di Pisa and Fonteverde in Tuscany.
