Jay Phillips is Director of Sales, Global Projects EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)

Hansgrohe has announced that Jay Phillips has been appointed as Director of Sales, Global Projects EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Based at Hansgrohe UK, Phillips will report directly to Hans-Jürgen Kalmbach, Vice President Sales Global Projects.

Phillips started his career at Hansgrohe UK in 2012 as Head of Projects. During his tenure, Phillips played an instrumental role in driving the projects division forward to achieve record sales growth in the past three years, which in 2014 saw him progress to Sales Director – Projects.

Hans-Jürgen Kalmbach said: “Jay fulfills his position with high commitment and dedication and was a prominent team member involved in the successful launch of ‘The Water Studio’, Clerkenwell, London and in achieving record sales in the UK projects channel in 2013, 2014 and again in 2015.”

With a rich experience spanning over 20 years in the sanitary industry, Phillips has worked for Grohe and Kohler. In his new position, Phillips will gain increased responsibility for driving global strategy for EMEA regions and accelerating key accounts across the prominent hospitality sector. He will build and maintain strong relationships with influential decision makers and further develop Global Project sales processes for the Hansgrohe Group.

As Director of Sales, Global Projects Phillips and his team will work closely with international hotel groups and key stakeholders ranging from investors to architects, and designers to residential developers to offer service excellence, value and expertise for projects across the EMEA region.

Phillips will begin his new role on 1 September 2016. We will strive to continue to provide our project partners with expert advice that will in turn allow them to increase project efficiency by saving time and money, as well as offering reassurance and design inspiration across their projects both in the UK and across the world.”
