Luxury hotel brand Sunlife debuts exciting new enhancements
Sunlife is delighted to reveal the spectacular new series of updates to it’s resorts that promise to elevate guest experience.
Luxury hotel brand Sunlife has announced a series of captivating updates that promise to elevate the experience for guests at five-star Sugar Beach, five-star Long Beach, four-star La Pirogue, and four-star Ambre.
At Sugar Beach the Buddha-Bar Beach has been redesigned and the capacity doubled to ensure guests can make the most of the sunset experience at this prime West Coast location. The new restaurant is now paired with a chic beachside lounge and entertainment space allowing guests to relax and soak up the beach atmosphere. To celebrate the redesign of the space a new extensive menu of alcohol-free cocktails has been launched to cater to the growing trend for healthier holidays.
The hotel’s main restaurant Le Patio has also been given a new modern look with stations for the Executive Chef to showcase exciting dishes using signature quality products. To cater to families of all shapes, sizes and generations, interconnecting family rooms with separate bathrooms have been added in the iconic Manor House.
At both Sugar Beach and La Pirogue, the kids’ clubs have been renovated to provide meaningful experiences for children visiting the resorts by offering activities based on sustainability and protecting the ever-important Mauritius landscape. The new design concepts use natural and sustainable materials and incorporates themes and features inspired by Sunlife’s kids club mascot Izzy the Bee such as honeycomb shapes and bee-inspired colourways. Essential to the life cycle, Izzy the Bee will guide Sunlife’s youngest guests on a journey of fun and creative learning that encourages their critical understanding and connection to nature.
Over on the wild East Coast of the island and nestled amidst lush gardens, the rooms at Long Beach have been meticulously redesigned to immerse guests in the surrounding natural splendour. Every room has a private outdoor space for guests to enjoy the spectacular views with unrivalled privacy. The new green hues, drawn-back curtains and vast glass sliding doors work to create a harmonious blend between indoors and outdoors allowing guests to revel in their own garden oasis. The walls are adorned with the work of local artists to bring a slice of Mauritian culture to the heart of all guests stay. Tides restaurant at Long beach has also undergone a remarkable transformation with a fusion of materials and colours that mirror the spaces surroundings. The restaurant’s new décor is a burst of crystal blue and coastal style contemporary furniture with beachfront seating ideal for soaking up the sun or indulging in pre-dinner cocktails with toes in the sand.
At Sunlife’s adults-only resort Ambre a new era of elegance has been unleashed with redesigned rooms that encapsulate a contemporary aesthetic. Sophisticated clean lines and neutral tones create a calming and tranquil atmosphere. Embracing local craftmanship, the new rooms at Ambre showcase the cultural essence of Mauritius.
