Marbella Club Golf Resort & Spa unveils two new villas
Marbella Club Golf Resort & Spa has recently unveiled two new luxury villas called Casa Hubertus and El Cortijo. Both properties have unique interiors and design features.
Casa Hubertus:
The suite is designed by Prince Hubertus Von Hohenlohe, son of the hotel’s founder Prince Alfonso Von Hohenlohe. Hubertus, a six time Olympic skier, pop star, celebrated artist, TV personality and photographer has brought his own personality and cool demeanour to the design of the suite.
Casa Hubertus is adorned with high vaulted ceilings and windows, sleek wood burning fireplaces, vintage lounge chairs and cosy sofas. Original artwork from Hubertus’ celebrated ‘Elegantly Wasted’ and ‘Urban Jungle’ series, as well as a rare collection of black and white stills of La Corrida Goyesca from Ronda decorate the walls.
The suite has 35 square metres of private outdoor space with cacti gardens, designer fountains, a six person Jacuzzi, terrace daybeds and lounges. The master bathroom houses an oversized oval tub overlooking the gardens and a rainforest shower with intricate stone details.
Villa El Cortijo:
Situated by the garden pool at the heart of the hotel, amongst bougainvillea and orange blossoms, the new four-bedroom villa is a sumptuous hideaway for friends and families. It has been designed by Jean Pierre Martel, one of the resort’s principle designers and is aptly named El Cortijo after a traditional Andalusian farmhouse from which it was inspired.
Striking the perfect balance between rustic and contemporary, the Mediterranean style villa is embellished with beamed ceilings, thatched windows, hand crafted terra cotta tiles and whitewashed walls. Its colourful palette of blues and beiges creates a natural sense of warmth and relaxation. Original artwork from Pablo Pujol, Frank Westerman and Alvaro Latorre decorate the walls.
Guests can also enjoy the cosy and liveable ambiance throughout the public spaces. The living room is furnished with plush Ralph Lauren sofas and comfy deep-seated Bamax chairs. Perfect for entertaining, the villa offers a complete kitchen, bar and dining room table, which comfortably seats up to six guests. With expansive outdoor space, a private heated swimming pool, fireplace and a daybed terrace, El Cortijo provides the perfect venue for leisurely afternoon siestas and social gatherings.
Designed with comfort in mind, the four bedrooms offer large terraces, which overlook the gardens and ensuite bathrooms with double vanities, rain showers and deep oval soaking tubs. The dreamy top floor master suite features a private sitting room and oversized terrace with views of the botanical gardens.
With four bedrooms, four bathrooms, private pool, kitchen and entertainment space, El Cortijo provides the ideal accommodation for friends, families and multi-generational travel.
