Three weeks ago, 25hours Hotel Paper Island opened its doors in the centre of Copenhagen’s harbour.
The interior design, created by the renowned design agency Stylt Trampoli, embodies the essence of a Scandinavian summer house. Light colours and wooden accents create a cosy elegance in the 128 rooms. Here, guests can enjoy the special hygge feeling far from the madding crowd of the city centre. The hotel also has three function rooms on the ground floor for groups of up to 150 people.
At Tiger Lily restaurant, locals and hotel guests are taken on a colourful and lively culinary journey through the cuisines of Asia. The interior is inspired by olden days food markets, merging the aesthetics of Scandinavian local fish stands with a touch of the exotic allure, reminiscent of traditional wood carvings and origami. Nomad Day Bar, with its adjoining terrace overlooking the quay, makes the ground floor of the hotel a lively meeting place. Aside from a breakfast menu, coffee specialities and all-day snacks, the Nomad Day Bar also serves a selection of aperitifs and wines in the evening and is therefore the ideal starting point for a trip into the city or visits to the opera.
