A new luxury destination for Crete to open: Nana Princess

The Nana Princess in Crete, located on the north side of the island, is a new addition to Nana Hotels, part of Karatzis Group of Companies. The resort is expected to bring unparalleled levels of hospitality and luxury to the island when it opens in May, with five-star amenities and services catering to adult guests and families, in over 40,000m² of scenic beach location.

The hotel will consist of 112 luxury suites and villas, all with stunning sea-views of the Cretan Sea. Nearly all villas and suites will come with their own heated private pool or whirlpool – a first for the island – and some will even have the addition of their own private gym, SoulSteam room or SoulSauna, created by the award-winning Starpool.

During their stay at Nana Princess, guests will also be able to make the most of the hotel’s three first-class restaurants, private beach, two infinity swimming pools, state-of-the-art gym, and pampering treatments at its exclusive spa, which is set to become a destination for the island itself. There will also be plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained during their holiday at Nana Princess.

Accommodation

With 112 rooms, suites and villas ranging across 10 categories, there is a variety of accommodation to suit solo travellers, couples and families alike, all with complimentary wi-fi, and iPads, laptops and games consoles on request.

From the Superior Room, which sleeps three with its king-size bed and sofa bed, a spacious balcony, rain shower and sea views; a Deluxe Junior Suite, offering a private heated pool, sun loungers, deck chairs and dining table; the Harmony Suite, at double the size of a Superior Room at 90m², with its own heated outdoor whirlpool and private gym, and the Aqua Marine Suite offering all the state-of-the-art amenities of the Harmony Suite, plus stunning waterfront views of the Cretan Sea.

Wellness enthusiasts will be enamoured with the Premium Energy Suites. These have been designed to rejuvenate and relax, and come with their own private swimming pools and the choice between a gym or a SoulSauna. Sports fanatics, on the other hand, will love the Executive Fitness Suite, with its 34m² outdoor pool, contemporary gym equipment, and luxurious finishes including iPads and Nespresso machines.

The Ambassador Wellbeing Suite is designed to cater for small families, with a King Size bed plus two sofa beds to accommodate up to two adults and two children (or three adults and one child), and all the five-star amenities one could wish for. Guests can choose between a SoulSteam or SoulSauna cabin, in addition to a large 35m² private swimming pool, gym equipment and large veranda for dining, sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful sea views.

For larger families, the Princess Luxury Villa has two double bedrooms with king-size beds, sleeping up to four adults and one child, or a family of four. With its large 120m² terrace and outdoor dining area, guests can make use of the on-demand in-house cook available to cater for private dining inside or on the veranda. Private Butler services are also available for guests of the Princess Luxury Villa, ensuring every need is catered for. Similarly, the exclusive Presidential Villa, situated over two floors with three double bedrooms, will offer stunning ocean views, private chefs and butler services on demand, in addition to the SweetSauna cabin in the super-luxe bathroom.

The resort’s crowning glory, the Grand Royal Villa, is designed with the utmost luxury in mind. Sleeping six adults plus one child in three double bedrooms, and situated over 360m², the villa features its own stunning private pool, extra-large balconies with terraces, private chef and butler services on request, and its own state-of-the-art SweetSpa in the master bathroom; with a steam bath, sensory shower, chronotherapy and relaxing music to complete the ambience, it’s your very own personal spa experience without having to leave the villa. There is even a chill out area, featuring a home cinema, billiards table, arcade & flipper machines, darts, and a 1950s juke box.

Regardless of room category, Nana Princess ensures every guest is treasured; each arrival will find a welcome gift basket of special Cretan wine, fresh fruit and cookies, and a full range of luxury amenities are on offer in every bathroom. For cocktails and canapés in the evening, the Lobby Bar & Lounge will be the central focal point of Nana Princess, serving refreshing sundowners with live music and comfortable seating for the perfect end to your evening.

Activities

The Nana Princess will offer its guests a stunning stretch of private beach running into the warm waters of the Cretan Sea. Private gazebos, available for guests staying in suites and villas, ensure the utmost luxury in comfort and privacy whilst enjoying a day in the Mediterranean sunshine.
