Opal Sands Resort Debuts in Clearwater Beach, Florida
Opal Sands Resort, the newest property under Ocean Properties, Ltd. & Afiliates, has opened in Clearwater Beach, setting the bar for luxury beachfront accommodations.
Inspired by the powdery white sands and lively atmosphere, the resort brings upscale accommodations with a contemporary feel to Florida’s Gulf Coast. The curvature of the property, designed by Design Duncan Miller Ullmann, gives every room a clear view of the stunning gulf sunsets with all 230 guest rooms and suites offering spectacular oceanfront views, private balconies, and modern amenities. The property’s chic décor, stylised wood accents, and subtle touches of turquoise and blue are perfectly suited for the beachfront escape.
Complementing the beauty of Clearwater Beach, Opal Sands Resort showcases a specially-‐ commissioned collection of artwork by local Floridian artists. With a variety of paintings, sculptures, and mixed-‐material collaborations, featured artists include Christopher Still, Mark Aeling, Carrie Jadus, Duncan McClellan, Mariel Bass, and Arnold Ruiz.
The Gulf views also provide the perfect backdrop for special events, weddings, celebrations and meetings, as the resort will offer 17,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, and 3,366 square feet of event lawn for elegant outdoor affairs.
