Contemporary, upscale hotel brand, Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, has opened the best-connected 177 roomed Park Plaza Nuremberg in Germany’s newest city break destination

Influenced by the city’s rich cultural and medieval history, Park Plaza Nuremberg showcases warm metallic colours, purple and grey hues and shimmering textures inspired by Nuremberg’s well-known Renaissance figures Albrecht Dürer and Martin Behaim, all of which are interwoven into the eye-catching design, devised by award-winning design practice, Scott Brownrigg. Artwork and sculptures, including interpretations of Dürer’s Rhino and Behaim’s ‘Erdapfel’ globe, pay tribute to the city’s cultural legends, bringing a contemporary sophistication to Bavaria’s latest city hotspot.

Situated opposite Nuremberg’s 19th Century Central Railway Station and adjacent to the famous Old Town, Park Plaza Nuremberg lies in the heart of the city, within close proximity to the many attractions on offer including Nuremberg Zoo, the 10th century Nuremberg Castle, Playmobil Fun park, Railway and Toy museums, as well as the rally grounds and Germany’s oldest Christmas market.

BA Beef Club, the hotel’s destination-led restaurant with a club-like ambience, is a true meat-lover’s paradise. The menu, specialising in premium steaks prepared in a Josper Oven, has a distinct Bavarian American theme. It features cuts of meat from both local Nuremberg butchers and USDA prime steaks, such as the USDA Tomahawk steak, or the Porterhouse from local Nuremberg butcher Freyberger, both served with a signature range of toppings such as Nuremberg-brewed beer sauce or roasted bone marrow.

The Bavarian American Bar serves a tempting mix of German and American beverages, including fine Bavarian whiskeys, top quality wines, local beers and Nuremberg-inspired cocktails, such as the BAAM’s which features Franconian sparkling wine mixed with dry vermouth, elderflower syrup and soda.
