Recycled Chenille Fabrics: Eider

Offering a vintage boutique feel, in a sustainable quality and launching in early 2024, the new Eider FR Recycled fabrics have been developed specifically for contract upholstery. Keeping to a succinct palette of neutrals and dusty tones, the fabrics come with a flame retardant Crib5 backing and achieves 45,000 Martindale rubs, meeting severe contract requirements. With the soft handle of the chenille and a velvet effect to the surface the collection adds a luxurious finishing touch to contract environments. 100% Polyester, made from post-consumer waste, Skopos are excited to launch this into the marketplace alongside their recent achievement of being recognised as a Carbon Neutral organisation in 2023.

Eider achieves the standards for UK and European flame retardancy and meets the IMO requirements, confirming suitability for marine/ cruise interiors.
