Registration live for Independent Hotel Show 2017
The Independent Hotel Show, presented by James Hallam Hospitality & Leisure, returning to Olympia London on 17 and 18 October, is now open for registration. Now in its sixth year, the Show is the only UK business event dedicated to the independent, luxury and boutique hotel sector and returns with new feature areas, a stimulating list of industry experts, business seminars and key note sessions, as well as a feast of ideas, inspiration and insight.
Highlights of #IHS17 will include the Seminar Programme, shared across three stages – Business Theatre, Innovation Stage and The Gymnasium for The Mind – where over 100 professionals from all pillars of the industry will speak in more than 30 seminars covering recruitment, marketing, design, branding, social media, wellness and much more. Seminar titles include The Progressive Boss; Place Making: Neighbourhood Watch; Kettling the Online Mob; I’m With the Brands: Partnerships, and Relax, Guys: Spa for Men.
A carefully-curated list of over 300 exhibitors – from guest room amenities to interior design agencies and technology suppliers – will be present at this year’s Show, informing visitors about the latest products and services for the independent hotelier.
This year attendees will also be able to find out what makes The Perfect Hotel Bedroom after the results of a survey, carried out in partnership with Chic Retreats, determined consumer preferences in lighting, soft furnishings, storage and more.
The Perfect Hotel Bedroom, created and built to scale by Harriet Forde Design, will be a key feature, with products from the Show’s exhibitors used to furnish the room and visiting hoteliers, journalists and industry thought-leaders invited to get “in bed” to share opinions about it.
Networking remains a key part of the Show. Central networking area ‘The Lobby’, designed by Benedict Wilhelm, gives all attendees a stylish space in which to meet and conduct business over coffee or a glass of fizz while VIP hoteliers, speakers and press can conduct more intimate discussions in The Suite, designed in partnership with Galapagos Furniture, who will furnish it in ‘hot house jungle style’ with chairs from their newly-launched HK Heritage Collection.
For hoteliers and spa managers looking to boost their wellness, leisure and lifestyle offering, The Sanctuary is an area dedicated to mindfulness, education and wellbeing, perfect for exercising the mind and gaining insight into the latest trends.
The show will also feature the celebrated Independent Hotelier and Outstanding New Hotel Awards, which will recognise those which have made a significant contribution to the industry over the past year.
Commenting on the exciting line-up for 2017, Miranda Martin, Event Director at Independent Hotel Show says:
“The 2017 Independent Hotel Show offers everything the independent, luxury and boutique hotelier needs to help inspire and develop their business. As with previous years we have secured an exceptionally strong line-up of industry experts and exhibitors, proving how invaluable the show is to all areas of the sector. We are particularly excited to be revealing such an insightful and potentially controversial feature in The Perfect Hotel Bedroom and look forward to feedback from visitors”
