Roca wins Gold at Designer Kitchen and Bathroom Awards

The new Roca In-Wash® Inspira smart toilet has won a gold award in the Innovation in Technology category at the recent Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards.

The Awards, which are now in their 15th year, took place at the Bloomsbury Big Top in London and celebrate the very best talent in kitchen and bathroom design. Claire Gay, Sector Marketing Manager at Roca, collected the award on behalf of the company from host Claudia Winkleman.

Claire said: “We are delighted to have picked up gold in the Innovation in Technology category. A lot of time and research went into creating In-Wash and ensuring its sophisticated technology worked perfectly in sync with its stylish design. This award is testament to our hard work and is a great achievement. It was a fantastic event and we’re already looking forward to next year!”

In-Wash is an innovative WC with in-built technology for exceptional personal hygiene that provides complete cleaning, care and comfort. Its soft curves and minimalistic design mean In-Wash will adapt perfectly to the interior design of any bathroom space for ultimate well-being.

The integrated nozzle cleans itself before and after each use and the water flowing through it undergoes a filtering process that treats it before being used. Moreover, the tip of the nozzle is removable, allowing a manual cleaning and disinfection in an easy way. The remote control is extremely intuitive meaning that after just after one operation, the user will be able to understand its functioning perfectly. As a complement to the remote control, In-Wash also features a side panel to regulate the basic cleaning and drying functions in a simple and easy way.

In-Wash features a presence sensor that blocks the cleaning and drying functions while the seat is free, avoiding its accidental activation. Moreover, the LED light in its side panel can be programmed to stay on for eight hours, to be a guide in the middle of the night. In-Wash has been designed to become a key element in the modern bathroom. For this reason, its installation just requires a water outlet and a conventional power connection. Safety is ensured with In-Wash due to its materials of the utmost quality and to the compliance of all EU standards and regulations.
