Rocco Forte Hotel, The Balmoral launches The Royal Experience

The Balmoral, the Rocco Forte Hotel located in the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland, as it announces the launch of The Royal Experience.

This new exclusive suite offering encompasses private tours of the country’s most important royal sites celebrating Scotland’s royal heritage and giving guests a glimpse of the country through their eyes.

Scotland has long been a destination held dear by the British Royal Family. Today, travellers are inspired more than ever to walk in the footsteps of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II thanks to Netflix series The Crown, that has a second season debuting this December.

Available to guests booking a three-night stay or longer in the hotel’s Scone & Crombie Suite, The Royal Experience, unlocks the royal retreats that appear in the much-loved series. Trips include helicopter transfers to The Queen’s summer getaway – Balmoral Estate in Aberdeenshire – for a private driving tour, as well as the Palace of Holyroodhouse – Her Majesty’s Edinburgh residence – and her beloved Royal Yacht Britannia.

The Royal Experience package is the first of The Balmoral’s new Rocco Forte Suite Experiences, a programme that offers Forte Suite guests additional benefits, gifts, and personalised itineraries. Suite experiences are unique to each Rocco Forte hotel with themes that range from gastronomy and culture to shopping and well-being.
