Studio Marco Piva announce the projects nearing completion for 2025
Studio Marco Piva have announced the projects nearing completion for 2025, a year dedicated to innovation and creativity that will mark new milestones, a journey through sustainable design and cutting-edge solutions for contemporary and future living.
PALAZZO ROTA, Venice
Opening in spring, just steps away from St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, Palazzo Rota is an exclusive property of the Pacini Group. This historic, heritage-listed building has been transformed into six apartments and a shared entrance hall, offering an intimate and exclusive Venetian hospitality experience.
Once the site of a glassworks, the building’s interior design was curated by Studio Marco Piva. The design preserves and enhances elements of historical memory, while drawing inspiration from the characteristic hues of the lagoon city.
SHIFT, Lodes
Shift, the new wall lamp designed by Marco Piva for Lodes, will be officially unveiled in April at Euroluce. Made of aluminum, Shift is a wall lamp that blends minimalist design with impressive light output. its sleek simplicity and neutral finishes enable it to merge seamlessly into its surroundings, almost disappearing to let the light take centre stage, enhancing and encouraging its interplay with the space. Shift is inspired by the clean, strict lines of contemporary architecture, but softens the volumes with slightly rounded corners.
EXCELSIOR PALACE HOTEL PORTOFINO COAST, Rapallo
Within the iconic 5-star luxury hotel located in the heart of the Gulf of Tigullio in Rapallo, Studio Marco Piva has been entrusted with the renovation and expansion of the SPA, Wellness, and Fitness area. This project aims to enhance the exclusivity of the hotel’s offerings, aligning them with the evolving trends in the wellness sector.
The project, set to unfold in multiple phases, is expected to unveil its grand indoor pool and SPA by Easter, followed by spaces dedicated to salt relaxation, a hypersaline floating pool, a private spa, and the new Fitness Club.
Two complementary approaches define the project: on one hand, the conservative restyling and enhancement of existing elements, and on the other, the spatial and functional expansion of the services. The design draws deep inspiration from the local territory, reinterpreting its forms, colors, and evocative essence.

LE MERIDIEN, Casablanca
Contemporary design and tradition blend seamlessly in the common areas and 145 rooms of the new Le Meridien, set to open this year in Casablanca, Morocco, based on a Concept Design by Studio Marco Piva.
Located in the vibrant business district of Ain Sebaa, the hotel merges the colors and textures of the local territory with the international standards of the Le Meridien brand, creating a business-oriented destination that also offers spaces and moments dedicated to leisure and well-being.
The SMP concept stepped in mid-project, preserving pre-defined elements while introducing unconventional touches inspired by the local culture. The hotel reflects the dynamism of the city, evokes the intimacy of the desert, and harmoniously connects the ocean and the land through a color palette that captures its essence.
SYRE and EASY, Milan
The architectural completion of the Syre and Easy residential complexes in Milan is scheduled for December. These projects are the result of a landscape and architectural intervention curated by Studio Marco Piva for AXA IM Alts, aimed at urban and social regeneration.
SMP’s design is based on a masterplan that revitalizes a long-abandoned site, contributing to the redevelopment of Milan’s San Siro district. The project encompasses three residential complexes: two designated for private housing, featuring a high-rise building of 23 floors as a landmark, and one dedicated to social housing. It also includes the redesign of the public space, incorporating a large plaza and a park that will harmoniously integrate with the surrounding green areas.
Two distinct architectural styles define the project: one inspired by contemporary international architecture for the private housing, and the other drawing from Milanese rationalist architecture for the social housing. These two identities coexist and engage in dialogue, balancing architectural quality with social sustainability.
URBAN VILLAS AND EXCLUSIVE APARTMENTS, Worldwide
Several projects are nearing completion, both in Italy and abroad, developed for private clients. These initiatives have involved the architecture, interior, and industrial design teams of Studio Marco Piva working in synergy to achieve consistently unique results.
