TAL-STUDIO NAMED DESIGNER FOR ENHANCEMENT OF FOUR SEASONS RESORT NEVIS

Four Seasons Resort Nevis, the Caribbean’s iconic AAA Five Diamond resort, has appointed the award-winning TAL Studio to lead its renovation, planned to begin in spring 2018.

The two-year project is expected to include all 196 guest rooms and suites, dining outlets, retail outlets, public spaces and a new signature pool. Infrastructure work, such as the installation of a new waste water treatment plant, electrical upgrades, a new generator and enhanced wireless internet service throughout the resort, has already begun; the resort’s new Kastawey Beach Bar is the first of many new elements to be introduced. The resort is phasing the project to be able to remain open with a full offering of services and resort activities throughout the course of this renovation.

In preparation for this extensive enhancement, resort management is working with coastal engineers and local officials to restore and increase storm protection systems, including a pier upgrade, dune enhancement and additional flood protection systems. Storm protection is essential to protecting the Resort and in preventing future losses prior to the sizable planned capital investment. In coordination with government officials, these protections are expected to be in place prior to the 2017 hurricane season.
