Zhejiang Taizhou Marriott Hotel opens

Marriott International, Inc. has announced the opening of The Zhejiang Taizhou Marriott Hotel, marking the debut of Marriott International’s iconic flagship brand in the city of Taizhou, Zhejiang province of China. Being the first five-start international hotel in the dynamic Huangyan area, the 351-room Zhejiang Taizhou Marriott Hotel is a combination of Marriott Hotel’s design and innovation with the local Taizhou warmth and hospitality.

“We are proud to open the company’s 91st Marriott International hotel across six brands in China and to bring the total number of properties in China under our flagship Marriott Hotels brand to 26 properties. The brand is on a mission to enable its guests to travel brilliantly by offering sophisticated, modern services and amenities that will appeal to the next generation of travellers,” said Mr. Henry Lee, Chief Operations Officer of Marriott International, Greater China.

Zhejiang Taizhou Marriott Hotel offers a total of 2,400 square meters of meeting space with an elegant pillar-less 1,000 square meters Grand Ballroom, the largest ballroom in town, as well as 14 meeting rooms that can be scaled for various functions and sizes. Each of these meeting rooms is equipped with a full set of audio-visual equipment including oversized LED screens and onsite associates are always available to ensure the smooth operations of functions.
