Bespoke Hotels has announced the appointment of Beccy Gunn to the role of General Manager at the White Horse Hotel, Dorking, amidst substantial refurbishment to the property ahead of a scheduled re-launch in November. Following its temporary closure in July, the historic High Street hotel is undergoing a comprehensive re-design of its dining and events space, alongside the addition of 16 bedrooms, bringing the total to 57.

Beccy arrives at The White Horse from Wimbledon’s Hotel du Vin, having worked extensively across the South East of England, as well as overseeing a number of property openings and re-launches during her two decades of experience in the hotel sector.

“I am hugely excited to be joining the team at The White Horse at such a crucial time”, said Gunn. “I have been very impressed by both the vision behind the project and the passion from the management within Bespoke, not to mention the considerable potential of Dorking as a destination in itself. I am relishing the opportunity to re-establish the property within the local community.”

“We are delighted to have secured Beccy’s services as we look to build the foundations of a successful and longstanding team at The White Horse,” added Graham Marskell, Managing Director of Bespoke Hotels. “We are confident that her passion and proven track record, when allied to our investment and vision for the property, will prove a winning combination for both Dorking and Surrey.”
