STR Global appoints new managing director

The board of directors for STR Global Limited has appointed Robin Rossmann as managing director of the London-based hotel data benchmarking company.

Rossmann will begin his new role on 1 January 2016. He will replace Elizabeth Randall-Winkle, who has been named chief strategy officer at STR, Inc. Based in Hendersonville, Tennessee, STR is the largest shareholder of STR Global.

Rossmann joins STR Global from Deloitte London, where he was a senior director in the International Travel, Hospitality & Leisure Advisory Group. He brings more than 13 years of experience advising leading hotel brands, operators, investors and lenders across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and North America.

Including its London headquarters, STR Global maintains representation in 11 locations around the world.

Rossmann is a highly dedicated and versatile leader who has advised on hotel strategy, business planning, investment appraisal, market reviews, financial and commercial due diligence, initial public offerings, debt advisory, valuation, financial assurance and risk management.

Rossmann is ideally placed to lead STR Global in continuing to improve the way it provides the hotel industry with competitive benchmarking, information services and research that enables stakeholders to make more sound decisions. He will do this through his extensive relationships with stakeholders across the industry, in-depth knowledge of markets across the globe, and wide-ranging technical ability.
