Wilderness Reserve welcomes Andrew Perkins as Chief Operating Officer
Wilderness Reserve has appointed Andrew Perkins as its Chief Operating Officer. In this newly created position, Andrew will work closely with the team to oversee all operations at the 5,000 acres estate, a luxury collection of ten fully serviced properties and event space available to hire for weekends or longer stays.
Having worked in the UK and Europe for national and multi-national brands, in independent, managed and franchised operations Andrew joins Wilderness Reserve having previously held the position of Executive Director at Lingfield Park Resort. During his time in the role, Andrew oversaw the management of the busiest racecourse in the UK in addition to its on-site Marriott hotel, spa and golf course for five years.
Previously General Manager at the Rome Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Centre from December 2009 – June 2012, Andrew brings international experience to Wilderness Reserve having operated one of the largest meeting and conference hotels in Europe.
Andrew has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, spending the majority of this time in international hotels and resorts, similarly located in large grounds. With a proven track record of turnaround and cultural change across large volume international sports and hospitality businesses, the hospitality professional will focus on developing the Wilderness concept which will see Wilderness Reserve as the go to place for unique corporate events, weddings and short breaks.

With stunning grounds by celebrated landscape architect Kim Wilkie, Wilderness Reserve estate is home to ten properties ranging from a twelve-bedroomed manor house designed by celebrated architect Decimus Burton to a dreamy thatched one-bedroomed cottage.
