Wilson Associates announces leadership transition: Cheryl Neumann and Larry LeMaster named as new interim Co-CEOs
Wilson Associates is a pioneer and trendsetter in the design industry, creating luxury experiences all over the world for discerning travelers. The firm announces the transition of CEO Olivier Chavy, who led the 45-year-old global interior architecture firm through a successful transition of ownership and rebranding.
Chavy joined Wilson Associates to shepherd the firm’s evolution from a single owner and iconic founder to a global network of amazing designers. Because of his phenomenal leadership, the transition was successful, and now he returns to the hotelier world, where he will contribute his strengths of vision, growth and transformation to Movenpick.
Cheryl Neumann, COO, and Larry LeMaster, CFO have been named as interim Co-CEOs during the transition carrying forward the firm’s vision and strategic plan.
“The last three years have been an amazing journey, and I am proud every day to work with such a talented and creative team,” Chavy said. “I am honored to be part of the Wilson family, and am so proud of all we have accomplished together. I’m confident in the strength of the firm and in the successful continuation of the vision we created.”
“We thank Olivier for ushering Wilson Associates from the foundation years through this transitional period and into the new phase of the firm,” Neumann said. “He has been instrumental in redefining the identity and vision for this indelible legacy. Our global team in eight offices around the world looks forward to an exciting new era and creating new legacies in design.”
While the CEO is an important role at any company, at a design firm, the most important roles are those who inspire and design amazing spaces around the world. Wilson Associates’ incredible talent remains. They are dedicated to our projects and clients, and are continuing to create amazing experiences. We continue to have the pleasure to work with our many clients, and design incredible stories and experiences.
