Crucial Trading
Innovative floor covering and rug brand Crucial Trading celebrates 30 years of providing natural floor coverings for domestic and commercial projects. Today they boast a choice of over 80 different ranges in the collection including award-winning ranges such as Mississippi and Fabulous. Choose from Sisal, Coir, Jute, Seagrass, Wool or Sisool, which is Crucial’s unique blend of wool and sisal.
The development team at Crucial Trading is always exploring new weaves, patterns and colours. Launching this autumn are four new wool designs – Buttercup, Mississippi Premium, Alpine and Pride – a new Sisool design called Twine (seen above), plus five new colours for Sisal Oriental.
With a great understanding and appreciation for the benefits of wool, Crucial Trading has developed over 40 unique patterns in a wide choice of colours and are delighted to introduce these four new designs into the collection. Most of the wool is sourced from the vast expanses of the mountainous regions of New Zealand where legend states that the unique altitude and seasonal rainfall produces the most luxurious form or wool, prized for its fine texture, durability and above all, purity. Due to the whiteness of the fibres, Crucial Trading can achieve superior depth of colour for their unique designs.
Sisal continues to be a popular choice and Crucial Trading offers more than 20 designs in a range of colours. This hard-wearing tactile floor covering collection sees five new colour options introduced for the popular Sisal Oriental design, a contemporary classic and truly versatile weave.
Crucial Trading recently introduced a hospitality collection. Designed with specifiers, architects and interior designers in mind, the collection provides a diverse variety of choice, high-quality materials, hard-wearing longevity and supreme comfort. The collection offers 40 different wool structures that can be customised in a choice of 35 different colours. These colours can also be combined, weaving two or more together, to create a truly bespoke carpet. The collection has been shortlisted for the FX Design Awards 2017.
