“Edmund Bell springs forward for a bright future with new branding and a new collection”

Posted in Products on 15 November, 2018

Edmund Bell is pleased to introduce our new brand identity, developed in-line with our positioning as a key partner in the global interior furnishings sector.

Established in 1855 and with a long heritage as a major supplier of fabrics, our new creative identity comprises a distillation of these 163 years of history. The entrepreneurial spirit of 1855 is also still true in 2018, and this new brand highlights both the technology-led capabilities of our curtain linings and light control fabrics and the exquisite design of our print and woven collections.

Using the construction and combining of materials as a start point, we’ve stylised the letters E & B into a distinctive woven effect. This instantly achieves a bolder brand, capable of reasserting our industry position at the forefront of a competitive market.

We have moved our brand identity and wider industry profile into a more clean and contemporary territory, aligned to the design-led technical expertise, support and service we provide to designers, specifiers and contractors in the hospitality, leisure, healthcare and education sectors.

We hope you approve of our new look as much as you like our superior customer service, innovation and product quality. Whether you choose from our comprehensive range of decorative blackouts, dimouts, sheers, wovens and prints – or require a bespoke solution – we can guarantee a coordinated project approach across curtains, blinds, sheers, upholstery, cushions, bed-throws, bedspreads and valances.

Not only a new brand, but a new woven collection as well

To accompany our new branding, we are also delighted to launch our new inherently flame retardant woven collection: SOHO CLUB [www.edmundbell.com/collections/weave-collections/soho-club].

Art Deco and Gatsby, major 1920`s sources of interior inspiration were a key influence in the development of the SOHO CLUB collection, mixing metallic effect yarns with flat blocks of colour and incorporating lines to enhance the decadence of the glamour around the DECO era. The combination of scale and geometric pattern in this collection bring infinite new possibilities to classical expressiveness, all very indicative of the 20`s and 30`s period.

Colour in SOHO CLUB takes on a historical note but with a modern twist so damson, teal, copper and cobalt add newness, whilst black and gold, clay and seal evoke the true colours of the sumptuous Art Deco era.

SOHO CLUB has been independently tested for UK and International FR standards, with wide width options also available (280cm / 110 inches). Watch the Soho Club launch video: https://vimeo.com/275211847
