Experience Camira’s beautiful portfolio of fabrics at Sleep + Eat
Global textile innovator Camira is showing its latest hospitality fabrics at this year’s Sleep + Eat.
Fabrics add flair and personality, performance and style to a wide range of hospitality interiors. Through a creative, sumptuously designed stand Camira will be displaying its collection of wool rich fabrics, bast fibre blends, innovative recycled polyesters and panel fabrics.
Synergy
Synergy is a soft, wool blend fabric available in Camira’s largest colour offering of 75 shades. Made from premium New Zealand wool and combined with just 5 per cent nylon, Synergy has a finer finish while achieving 100,000 double rubs.
The Synergy palette boasts an enchanting kaleidoscope of colours suitable for a wide range of interior environments. The development of each colourway was a thoughtful and considered process, from fibre-dyed to piece-dyed fabrics, the colours range from bold brights, neutral pales, deep darks and mysterious mélanges.
Blazer
Camira’s bestselling pure new wool fabric, Blazer, has been recharged with a revived palette of 50 colours. Maintaining a mix of mélange and solid shades, the palette has been refined with the injection of 14 new colourways, bringing a fresh take on this popular fabric. The overall palette has a bold, fun and vibrant feel with warmer neutrals added alongside the pop of brighter tones.
Main Line Flax Stripe
Main Line Flax Stripe is a rustic, striped complement to its sister plain weave bast fibre fabric, Main Line Flax. Following the creation of Main Line Flax in 2014, made from 70% wool and 30% flax, the patterned coordinate brings balance, with tone on tone stripe shades. Available in 8 colourways.
Manila
Manila is Camira’s newest high-performance textured vinyl, offering an even palette of 18 colourways. The colour palette includes comforting mineral shades and acidulous dark tones. The rich and pastoral shades don’t appear as solids due to the subtle grain texture of Manila, discreetly enhancing the depth of colour which softly reflects the light, creating intricate changes to each individual shade. Ideal for the most demanding environments, Manila provides optimum performance, safety and cleanability.
Patina
Only by taking a deep breath and slowing down do we become aware of our surroundings and the Pattern in Nature is revealed to us. Patina is designing with nature to achieve beauty with performance. The white flecks scattered across the surface are created by the flax content, just as the flowers would appear in the fields from which it is grown. The palette takes its cues from nature and has been carefully balanced to include shades which both enhance and blend seamlessly with other fabrics in the Camira portfolio. By allowing its natural beauty to shine through, we’ve ensured that Patina is truly at home in its new habitat – interiors.
Synergy Quilt
Synergy Quilt is a wide width version of the soft-handle wool blend fabric, Synergy. Available in 8 colours selected from the Synergy palette with three quilt patterns, Channel, Chevron or Hourglass, Synergy Quilt brings new textures and ideas for upholstery or panel covering.
Synergy Quilt also contributes to Camira’s partnership with water aid charity, Just a Drop. For every metre of fabric sold, a donation is made to a specific project around the world, helping to provide clean and safe water to those in need.
Track and Trail
Track and Trail are luxurious Trevira CS chenille fabrics which can be used for fixed or removable upholstery. Soft and relaxed yet still high performing, Track is available in 18 colourways, designed to co-ordinate with 10 plain shades in the Track collection. Trail features a subtle stitch line generating a novel geometric design and echoing its trend origins of exploration. The stitch line effect also conveys a ‘one-off’ handmade feel. Beauty in irregularity. The slubby look of Track eludes to glitches found in distinctive hand-crafted design. Beauty in irregularity.
