LAUFEN TO SHOWCASE LATEST INNOVATIONS AT SLEEP & EAT 2018
From 20 to 21 November, Swiss bathroom specialist Laufen will be exhibiting on stand J10 at Europe’s leading hospitality design event, Sleep & Eat, at the show’s new location of Olympia, London.
Over two days, the show will bring together hospitality leaders with Europe’s foremost designers, consultants, architects and emerging talent from the hospitality sector.
This year Laufen will be returning to Sleep & Eat to showcase their capabilities within the hospitality sector. The brand will be demonstrating their commitment to providing a professional and consultative approach, that focuses on adding real value to hospitality projects. Laufen’s expertise and collaborative spirit enables them to take bathroom solutions within the hospitality sector to new and creative directions.
The bespoke category is evolving and Laufen’s expertise and passion for design puts them at the very forefront of this sector. Their deep knowledge of ceramic bathroom products enables the brand to provide authentic and customized solutions in bespoke that go above and beyond expectation. Delivering a luxurious design aesthetic whilst providing the very best in functionality and innovation, Laufen continues to turn the most challenging concepts into reality, working closely with interior designers and architects to bring together the choice of standard products with authentic customized bespoke pieces.
The innovative new Sonar range designed by Patricia Urquiola will be showcased on Laufen’s stand, featuring the thoughtfully designed Wave washbasin, complemented by Laufen’s elegant Boutique vanity unit.
For the Sonar collection, Patricia Urquiola was tasked with interpreting and exploiting the remarkable characteristics of Laufen’s high-tech ceramic material, SaphirKeramic, approaching it in terms of decor as well as form and function. The material has unprecedented performance properties, allowing for the creation of wafer-thin, but exceptionally robust walls, finely-defined curves and tight-edge radii of just 1 to 2mm – inspiring products that truly push the boundaries of bathroom design.
The aesthetic lightness of SaphirKeramik combined with a masterful design suitable for everyday use, make Laufen’s Val bathroom collection unique and successful all over the world.
The Val bathroom collection, designed by Munich star designer
Konstantin Grcic is characterised by clear geometric forms, thin walls, extremely narrow edges and gentle radii. A range of Val basins demonstrating this interaction between forms and lines, and implemented masterfully by Laufen in SaphirKeramik material, will be showcased at the event.
Cleanet Riva is a premium WC with intuitive and sophisticated shower functions that combine supreme luxury with perfect hygiene. This innovative shower toilet offers unparalleled design, combined with intuitive, easy-to-use technology. It is the world’s first integrated shower toilet with a completely closed ceramic
body and has already won several high-profile international awards for its striking design by Swiss designer Peter Wirz.
Making its debut in the UK market, Laufen’s compact shower toilet Navia will be presented to the show’s visitors for the first time. Navia is a smaller, entry level version of the award-winning Cleanet Riva with a more compact design, yet still featuring intuitive, high-tech shower functions. The new product is aimed at the hospitality market.
Laufen’s International Team will be on stand J10 to welcome visitors and share Laufen’s inspiring case studies, both in core collections and bespoke products, which are enhancing hospitality projects globally.
