Roca Group celebrates successful KBB 2018
Roca, the world leader in creating imaginative, beautifully designed and sustainable bathroom solutions, and Swiss bathroom specialist Laufen, unveiled innovative new designs at their joint-branded Roca Group exhibition suite at this year’s KBB Birmingham. The Roca and Laufen teams met with more than 1,000 visitors during the four-day event (4-7 March at the NEC in Birmingham), making it one of the most successful KBB shows for the group.
Alan Dodds, managing director of Roca Group said: “Our team had a very positive show and we were delighted to be back at kbb again this year. It proved to be a great platform for us to showcase our latest ranges from both Roca and Laufen, and network with our colleagues in the bathroom industry. We had a strong footfall throughout the four days and had lots of quality conversations with retail partners.”
Roca launched its eagerly-awaited Beyond collection, which has been created with the future in mind. Its smooth and sleek lines exude contemporary design whilst its rounded bath and WC provides a sense of the space-age. On the other side of the timeline, Roca presented Carmen, which pays tribute to the past with the redesign of an iconic model from Roca’s history. The classical Carmen washbasin has been recreated and a complete bathroom collection introduced for customers looking for a vintage style. It may take its inspiration from the past, but Carmen also has modern features including rimless WCs.
Also on display was the new Armani/Roca collection, Baia. With this collection, Giorgio Armani once again shows his commitment to promoting comfort and wellbeing, expressing his vision of the bathroom environment through a combination of elements that allow maximum flexibility and adaptability. The result is a new versatile bathroom collection, which manages to be both contemporary and timeless, in accordance with Giorgio Armani’s well-known design philosophy.
Laufen launched its latest range SONAR, the very latest design collaboration from renowned designer Patricia Urquiola, which takes Laufen’s pioneering SaphirKermiK material to the next level with an innovative range of basins and a stylish bathtub. Laufen also showcased the latest additions to bathroom range VAL, designed by Konstantin Grcic and presented new pieces, including a show stopping, circular, free-standing bathtub and a complete brassware range.
In addition, both brands presented their innovative shower toilets; In-Wash from Roca and the award-winning Cleanet RIVA by Laufen.
The kbb exhibition is one of the largest and most established kitchen, bedroom and bathroom events in the UK. Hosting over 400 exhibitors for the four days and running an informative conference programme.
