Infusing luxurious facilities, 1950’s resort-inspired design and a playful ambiance into a restored, one-time tobacco shipment station, Brown Beach House in Croatia is reinvented by Amsterdam-based designer Saar Zafrir…

Brown Hotels, an international boutique hotel group, have officially opened the Brown Beach House Croatia, a 25-room and suite property fusing Mediterranean-inspired design and resort aesthetic with a luxurious full-service spa along the Adriatic Coastline in Trogir, Croatia.

Located in Trogir, a popular yachting destination and ancient harbor town deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Brown Beach House Croatia is just five-kilometers from the Split airport. The property is located within a meticulously restored edifice built in the early 20th-century that once housed Duhanka, a landmark tobacco storage facility.

Today, the restored property reincarnated as the Brown Beach House Croatia features 25 stylish rooms comprised of one- and two-bedroom suites with custom furnishings and an interior/exterior design concept developed by Amsterdam-based designer Saar Zafrir (Sir Savigny, Max Brown, Provocateur by Gekko Group), whose conscious approach to aesthetics infuses calming, natural color pallets and wooden tones, classic-yet-contemporary furniture and vintage pieces surrounded by local flora, which when combined, creates a cohesive, timeless look and home-like feel. Paying homage to times past, the Brown Beach House Croatia’s outdoor swimming pool is furnished with classic black-and-white tiled flooring inspired by the Roman Empire’s influence over Trogir in the 17th and 18th-centuries, while a majority of the suites boast picturesque views of the Adriatic Sea and of the old town of Trogir.

The Brown Beach House Croatia modernises the retro aesthetic for which Brown Hotels is known, inspired by classic Italian beach-style summer resorts of the 1950’s. The hotel’s signature lobby library, succulents, Mediterranean flora and bespoke furnishings sprinkled throughout the property create an unparalleled level of contemporary design and leisure-soaked amenities previously unobtainable on the Croatian coastline.

The Brown Beach House Croatia features an outdoor infinity pool and sun deck overlooking the Adriatic Sea; Cartina, a contemporary high-end seafood-focused restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner; a bespoke cocktail bar; elegant spaces for private events; a full-service spa offering massage treatments with a thermo-mineral outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, opening Summer 2017; private beach access; and fully equipped beach club with outdoor lounge seating and waitstaff, opening Summer 2017.

The Brown Beach House Croatia will also unveil 24 additional luxury suites in Summer 2017.
