The Landsby Introduces Nine New Suites
Just in time for peak season travel this winter, The Landsby, Solvang’s top boutique hotel, has introduced nine new suites.
The property opened in spring 2015 with 41 rooms and what would become the small town’s favorite restaurant, Mad & Vin, and always-crowded lobby bar that hotel guests and locals gather in every night of the week. As the beloved hotel continues to evolve, it’s added a second outdoor courtyard with these nine new suites surrounding – in a very charming, village-like setup, complete with Dutch doors that open the spacious accommodations up to the liveliness of the community courtyard, with several fireplaces, large trees with hanging bocce ball lights and comfortable seating for the occasional live music performance.
The design of the suites keeps with the hotel’s bright, chic look, with blonde woods, brushed brass fixtures, genuine leather accents, and sophisticated, yet comfortable, handcrafted furnishings. Rooms and public areas feature whimsical artwork, commissioned from local artists, and thoughtful accessories, which work together to create a residential ambiance. The large suites include sitting and dining areas set off from the bedroom, as well as an enclave with a desk and working space.
The newest and most innovative hotel in the Santa Ynez Valley. This stunning 50-room boutique hotel offers warm hospitality and refined, stylish accommodations. The Landsby features a clean contemporary design, with a hint of traditional Scandinavian aesthetic.
The guestrooms are beautifully designed to capture the essence of the Scandinavian style with warm contemporary design elements that enhance a residential feel. Beds made of warm woods, furnishings with rich textures and original artwork are featured in these guestrooms. Amenities include 47 inch flat screen HDTV’s enhanced cable with HBO, irons, ironing boards, bathrobes, hairdryers, bottled water and mini-refrigerators.
