Mercer Hotel Sevilla, opening in the autumn of 2016, is the new luxury landmark hotel set in the heart of the historic center of Sevilla at 26, Calle Castelar. Located near the Plaza Nueva, Bullring La Maestranza and Theatre La Maestranza. Casa Palacio Castelar, the building has been chosen because of its prime location in the city and the ability to create a beautiful small luxury hotel from a building that dates back to the early 19th century.

“Sevilla has a long and rich history and the city’s architecture is a reflection of that past. I believe in integrating the old and new – it is my passion and vision for all Mercer Hoteles,” says Mr Pedro Molina, creator and owner of the hotel brand. The Mercer’s interior design team has embedded their fingerprint in each hotel selecting every detail: furniture, lighting, art, textiles and colours, all creating the inimitable Mercer Style.

Like a jewel box, Mercer Sevilla is comprised of 12 luxurious rooms and suites. Visitors will find an elegant ambience, breakfast service in the bright courtyard, a restaurant and seductive rooftop terrace and pool.

It is easy to be seduced by Sevilla – rich with royal palaces, museums and lush gardens. Its diverse history combines Roman castles, Gothic cathedrals and Moorish arcades – a mixture of the best of Spanish style.

The Arenal is one of the most traditional and vibrant neighborhoods of Seville. It is located between the city’s famous landmark monuments – the Cathedral and Royal Alcázar Palace – and the palm-lined eastern shore of the Guadalquivir River.
