Avvio wins digital marketing award for work with Temple Bar Hotel
Hotel technology expert Avvio has won a digital marketing award for its work with the Temple Bar Hotel in Ireland which led to a 141 per cent rise in revenue.
Avvio picked up silver at the Adrian Awards, an annual event organised by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Americas, for its work rebranding and enhancing the hotel’s online presence.
Avvio worked closely with the refurbished Temple Bar Hotel to reflect its new look across digital channels, and raise brand awareness to a global audience with three fully optimised new websites.
The campaign boosted the hotel’s conversion rate to 79 per cent and triggered the huge boost in revenue in just 12 months. Now in their 61st year, the Adrian Awards recognise excellence across advertising, public relations and digital marketing in the hospitality industry.
Avvio will be presented with the award at a ceremony at the New York Marriott Marquis on 20 February.
Frank Reeves, Co-founder and CEO of Avvio, said: “We’re really proud of this silver award which recognises our fantastic work with the Dublin’s famous Temple Bar Hotel. Our team of digital marketing experts has helped drive sales at the hotel and boosted its profile among US customers.”
Robert Gilbert, President and CEO of HSMAI, said: “The theme of this year’s Adrian Awards is ‘Travel Marketing Super Heroes. It’s fitting because the winners have all taken bold and dynamic approaches that inspire and advance the hospitality industry as a whole. We look forward to celebrating these trailblazers and sharing their exceptional work at the Adrian Awards Gala.”
