DoubleTree by Hilton opens in Calama

DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the opening of the brand’s second hotel in Chile: DoubleTree by Hilton Calama in the capital city of Chile’s El Loa Province. Originally opened in 2010, the now converted DoubleTree by Hilton Calama is currently undergoing a property-wide, enhancement project, scheduled to be completed by Q2 2016, which will introduce guests to refreshed guestrooms, public spaces, meeting rooms and other amenities.

“We are very excited to be the first international hotel brand in this important business and industry centre in Northern Chile,” said John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. “DoubleTree by Hilton Calama is the second hotel for the brand in Chile and we are eager for guests visiting the region to experience the warmth of our DoubleTree by Hilton culture, starting with our iconic chocolate chip cookie welcome at check-in and continuing throughout their stay with us.”
