Aparthotels Adagio announce Xavier Desaulles and new CEO

Aparthotels Adagio, Europe’s leader in the aparthotel sector is pleased to announce the appointment of its new CEO, Xavier Desaulles.

Desaulles will take over the management of the innovative brand and will be responsible for realising its ambitious development and modernisation goals.

A graduate of HEC Paris and INSEAD, Desaulles joins the organisation from Club Med, where he spent the last six years as CEO East South Asia & Pacific based in Singapore, before taking over as CEO for the China and Asia Pacific markets, based in Shanghai.

Xavier Desaulles began his career with the Rémy Cointreau Group, where he spent 14 years as Marketing Director for Remy Martin and Louis XIII, Sales Director for Remy Cointreau USA and finally Managing Director for South-East Asia, India, and the Middle East.

ACCOR and Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs, the shareholders of the Aparthotels Adagio joint venture have placed their full confidence in Desaulles and are counting on his strategic vision and experience to drive the expansion of the aparthotel network in Europe and in new markets. By developing new products such as Coliving and offers adapted to new lifestyles such as the Commuters offer launched in November 2021, Adagio is determined to consolidate its position as an innovator and leader in the aparthotel sector.
