Sleepeezee has recently delivered and installed its Hotel Classic 1000 mattress into 23 of the rooms at South Wales wedding venue Hensol Castle. This unique historical venue is part of the Leekes Retail and Leisure Group. The castle dates to the early 1400s and is a Grade I listed building. It features towering turrets, sweeping staircases and gothic features – picture-perfect from every angle.

They completely understood what we were looking for, and the team were really friendly. With a woven damask cover and hand-woven tufted finish, the Hotel Classic 1000 mattress provides the perfect balance of comfort and durability. Double-sided to last longer, it offers a unique blend of natural wool, sumptuous rebound cotton, and comfort fibres. The bases for Hensol Castle were also upholstered in Contract Weave Pewter Grey fabric for a complementary finish.

‘The mattresses themselves are of a lovely quality,’ said Joanna. ‘We often find guests are talking or asking about the beds because they’ve slept so well. The selection of mattresses on offer means that you have a variety of options depending on what you’re looking for.’

Unfortunately, several pandemic lockdowns meant the delivery to Hensol Castle had to be delayed on more than one occasion. ‘Despite this, the team were very understanding and made sure that they would be able to deliver as soon as we were ready,’ said Joanna. And once everything had been installed, the Leekes team were more than happy with the result – and so were their guests.

As Royal Warrant holders since 1963, Sleepeezee makes its hospitality mattresses to premium standards. They’re all crafted by a skilled team of over 300 specialists at its factory in Rochester, Kent. Every detail of its innovative, market-leading mattresses is diligently checked for consistency and quality to ensure all hotel guests get the best night’s sleep possible.
